S2S-Senior2Student

The S2S program parallels the academic school year. Students and seniors meet weekly for 60-minute sessions for eight months. Each group is assigned a place where the program is consistently held. Students from local universities and older adults from senior independent apartments are paired. A GIFT student ambassador facilitates questions focusing on community betterment and a volunteer project from a local non-profit. The GIFT student volunteers learn life lessons from the challenges and triumphs of the wiser and older volunteers, while older adults learn about the younger generation and all they have to offer.

Simple tasks that help non-profits!

Create lifelong Relationships.

Nothing like a kit to warm a senior up during the winter holiday season, filled with festive activities, treats, and some winter essentials.
